Who The Hell Is Chacha Boros??

Discipline and drive are at the forefront of my life. As a not-so-typical second-year college student, I am a United States Marine, a competitive runner, and a weightlifter. As intense as that may sound, I don’t take life too seriously. Outside of my goals, I love hanging out with my long-term girlfriend and friends. We often jam out while I play the guitar or keyboard!

 

I was prompted to sign up for this class because I have always been interested in how professional ads influence people to buy, often in massive quantities. This summer, I am taking on a 3D creative design and marketing internship at Nike. I want to learn how to conduct marketing research properly and become familiar with business industry terminology. My goal is to be as prepared as possible and, hopefully, secure a job at Nike after college.

I am a Business and Marketing Analytics major at OSU. I have always been passionate about fitness and running, and while there are specific degrees related to those passions, people often overlook the importance of being able to market themselves while maintaining credibility. What interests me most about marketing is the ability to appeal to either the general population or a larger niche. I believe marketing incorporates a psychological aspect, and understanding how to use bold words or different colors in ads fascinates me. This skill is essential for effectively selling anything.

I am passionate about the United States Marine Corps. Currently, I am a Lance Corporal with two and a half years of service, and I love improving my fitness. I am also a Marine Officer Candidate, and after graduating, I plan to commission as a Second Lieutenant in the USMC. I run five days a week, which greatly benefits both my mental and physical health. All of my hobbies are rooted in competition, keeping me sharp and motivated throughout life.
